At Yew Tree we take internet safety very seriously. We appreciate the importance of the internet as a learning tool for children today. It provides them with the opportunity to access a wide range of educational tools , communicate with friends and investigate the world around them.

Know Online Age Ratings
As parents, it's important that we understand the age ratings for common Apps. These age ratings are in place to protect our children . It is illegal for children under this age to access the Apps.
Did you know that WhatsApp has an age rating of 16?
Did you know that none of the children here at Yew Tree are old enough to access any of the APPs below?

LA Online Meetings
Each academic year, the Local Authority team provide online meetings for parent and carers about online safety, including tips on how to help keep children safe online.
