Breakfast Club

As part of our Extended Schools provision we can offer wraparound care here at Yew Tree.

We have our own Breakfast Club which operates from 8.00am to 8.55am. Children are offered a choice of wholegrain cereals, bagels  and juice. The Breakfast club currently has 40 free places which are issued on a first come first served basis weekly.

To apply for a place at Breakfast club, you must hand in your booking form to member Mrs C Hawksford or a member of the Breakfast Club Staff each Monday. As we are limited to 40 places, it is parent/carers responsibility to ensure that these booking forms are handed in each Monday to ensure your child’s place for the following week.

Extra Curricular Clubs

At Yew Tree, we believe in providing children with opportunities outside of the classroom to enable them to experience new things, thus broadening their horizon and increasing aspirations. Last year, due to the clubs we offer within school, 40 of our Key Stage 2 children were able to graduate from the Children's University programme at Liverpool Hope University. This was a fabulous testament to all the hardwork from staff, children and parents in ensuring children are given these fantastic opportunities.

This year, we are looking to introduce even more clubs before, during and after school. After speaking to the children, we are seeking to include clubs that have not been included before to give the children a greater range of activities.
