Sensational Science Week 2020

We have had a wonderful week of Science this week at Yew Tree, where every child in every class has investigated, observed and experimented across a range scientific topics, including Plants, Living Things and Habitats, to name a few. All classes have been involved in a school project, as well as some to take home, and we’re looking forward to showcasing these with you around our school grounds.

Many of you have taken a ‘Science Selfie’ of the fun you’ve been having together at home following our Science workshops for families and we are grateful for your emails and Tweets.

A huge thank you to all of you for your support, involvement and encouragement for our children across the week. To all of our Scientists, in every class, who have been so amazed, enthusiastic, curious, motivated and eager to learn.

An extra special thank you to Mrs Mahar, who has organised a fabulous week of activities and events for us, and all of the staff team who have made sure that it’s been fun for all!
