Launch of Class Dojo

We are delighted to announce that as of Wednesday 15th April, the start of Summer Term, all children and their families will have access to Class Dojo.

Class Dojo is an app based system, that can be downloaded by our families onto mobile phones, tablets or laptops. Once downloaded, you will be able to see the 'School Story' where we will communicate general messages and the 'Class Story' specific to the class/classes your child is in.

Class Story

On your child's Class Story, your child/children's class teachers will post activities, tasks, challenges, videos, wellbeing messages etc for you and your child to enjoy.

Child's Portfolio

You can also see your child's portfolio. Here, you can post images, videos and text to show what your child has been doing. Teachers can then comment on these posts and provide brief feedback and praise, supporting motivation, resilience and mental health and wellbeing.

Other parents cannot see other children's portfolios, but if you wish to share your child's work with the whole class community, then tag this work that you are happy to share on the class story with the hastag #hts, and we will then share this for you.

Just like you, we have enjoyed speaking to you during our weekly phone calls and this will help us to stay connected to all of you, share ideas for fun activities and projects and give you and your child the opportunity to share what you're getting up to at home. We are extremely proud of all of our children and their families and how we are working together during these unusual times. This will provide an opportunity to get praise and feedback for anything your doing.

You don't have to complete everything that is set, and that's ok.

You might want to share a photograph, message, video of anything you've decided to do yourselves too!

We are very excited about being able to keep in touch with all of our families and we're sure you will enjoy it too!
