Welcome to Reception

During their time in Reception your child will build upon the experiences they will have gained at home, in Nursery and any other child care settings. In Reception, we love to engage our curious minds, develop our creativity and challenge our thinking.

Following our school motto, we love to ‘DreamBig’ so that we can become determined, resilient, empowered, adventurous, motivated, beautifully behaved, inclusive and generous. Our days are busy, fun and engaging, children are exposed to a play-based curriculum which provides rich learning opportunities, both inside the classroom and outdoors. In line with our current whole school arrangements, Reception will start school at 8.45 and finish at 3.05. Please check our Class Dojo page for messages and updates from our team.

PE- Reception will have PE on Thursday this term. Your child will need; a school PE shirt, navy shorts and black pumps (indoors) or trainers (outdoors).
