Welcome to Year 1

In Fir Class, our teacher is Mrs Heeley and our teaching assistants are Mrs Burns and Mrs French.

In Fir Class we are enthusiastic and confident learners who enjoy learning new things and asking lots of questions. We are very respectful of our friends and always value the different ideas and opinions we share in our class.

As a class, we support each other and help our friends when we are met with challenges, and together we celebrate our achievements.

PE- Year 1 will be doing PE on Wednesdays and Fridays this term, your child will need; a school PE shirt, navy shorts and black pumps (indoors) or trainers (outdoors).

Homework- All homework will be given out on a Friday and should be returned for the following Wednesday. Book bags need to be returned to school daily and home readers will be changed twice per week.
